happy happy mother's day everyone: all sons daughters mothers fathers wives grandparents! i had a lovely slow-paced weekend revolving around this important event, it was nice to have so much time with family once in a while.

we went to celebrate premature mother's day with both my grandmas on saturday. there was SO MUCH FOOD: i ate until i burst! lunch was at a restaurant with tons of meat, it was very rich and delicious initially but then the portions became insanely huge and everyone felt vomity afterwards. the afternoon was hilarious, we went to my grandma's house and dug through huge piles of clutter! - a hidden gem was recovered, old photo album from at least 20 years back. it was so cool looking at retro pictures with faded sepia tones and NOTE: these sepia tones were REAL not artificially photoshopped. hahaha. i also enjoyed myself immensely, sitting on the old swing and reading amongst waving old rambutan trees and breeze - till my aunt and cousin chattered the rest of the afternoon away, noisy but fun

dinner was even more sumptuous, and the food was just damn gooood. it was simple fare, nothing fancy; sweet-and-sour fish, hokkien black noodles, horfun, and a few other dishes i cannot recall. but everything tasted fabulous! i ate and ate and fervently hoped i would get fat.

the rest of the evening was spent on uno with my cousins, the younger one liting is absolutely adorable but also very cheeky. i am ashamed to admit i lost BOTH donkey AND uno pathetically, i am no match for pri-sch kids. it was especially cute when my cousin whined, "what time are you leaving? please don't leave so early. stay later! please stay?" heeheehee.

today was good too! i woke up late, cooked pasta for lunch, and went to the zouk flea market. the club looks so different in bright white light, all i can remember from last week is a drunken haze of blurry smoke and flashing lights. there were soooo many goodlooking people at the flea market, fashionably dressed and i spotted the hottest guy EVER in a gray teeshirt! with abs bulging out omg. unfortunately i didn't score anything but jasmine and yifang both bought items! but it was well worth the trip down, even if just to take a look at the sights and sounds.

and for dinner we finally celebrated for my own mummy, it was same old place same old food but it was good!

oh and siting's daisy is STILL alive 2 weeks later, pretty in a white vase(: and my room is still a crazy messsss.
