Waiting at Ding Tai Fung (last week?)It is a week of food: Monday I had steamboat in a school canteen, a super-spicy small pot bubbling with beef and cabbage and tofu and other goodies for only $3! The soup was too spicy to finish off completely, but the stock was good and chilli very shiok. Yesterday was Sakae with yusheng, sushi, chawanmushi, soba and more sushi. My only regret was not ordering sukiyaki, a hotpot of mushrooms and meat. But we left the place with bulging bellies and empty wallets. Hopefully tonight there will be Crystal Jade, Friday some good food somewhere with the NJ girls, Saturday is a party, and Sunday - Sunday, our very own potluck!
Week of mixed emotions too: disappointment over Pricewaterhouse Coopers, relief but also anxiety for my upcoming BDO Raffles interview, and just GLAD that I got accepted for exchange to Holland. I haven't completely decided whether or not to go overseas, this is a big challenge for me but hopefully everything will straighten out on its own over the course of the week.
Oh and I finally went jogging on Tuesday, my first run in absolutely ages. Every single muscle hurt the next day, even weird ones like buttocks and abs - goes to show how long these muscles have been underutilised and rotting
